The Governor has given his sanction under section 197 of Cr PC, for offences under Section 120-B and 420 of IPC in the Adarsh Cooperative Housing Society case. The Joint Director of CBI, Mumbai had sought sanction for prosecution of Chavan under Section 197 Cr P.C.
