Dance performances in Mumbai bars were banned in 2005. The dance bar owners will now have to apply for a licence to the government before reopening. This affects more than 70,000 people who had lost their livelihood due to the ban on dance bars. 'We suffered a lot. We only know how we managed in the past seven years. With such statements coming from the public representatives, shouldn't the government stand up and take note, aren't they directly responsible?"
